Guest themitch Posted September 18, 2006 Report Posted September 18, 2006 Hi Just wondered what MP3 software people are using on their Hermes/TyTN/M3100? I've tried a couple - Pocket Player seems the best I've used so far, just not sure if there's anything better I'm missing out on. None seem to be quite as good as Aeroplayer/Pocket Tunes on Palm OS?
Guest Posted September 18, 2006 Report Posted September 18, 2006 I'm using tcpmp for mp3 playing and what not. I like the way it lets me blank the screen for power saving and its playlist features are pretty good too. Jeremy
Guest darkseid Posted September 18, 2006 Report Posted September 18, 2006 I use gsplayer as it supports streaming shoutcast radio. it also has good playlist support and like tcmp lets you blamk the screen

Only thing is, theres a bug with the current version, apparently due for update. On the hermes the video will only playback without corruption if the driver is set to 'raw frame buffer'
Guest randomelements Posted September 18, 2006 Report Posted September 18, 2006 (edited) Sorry about the double post! Edited September 18, 2006 by randomelements
Guest randomelements Posted September 18, 2006 Report Posted September 18, 2006 I constantly used TCPMP on my SPV C550 - great program. Must admit, I've not switched from WMP yet on the Vario II as I've been waiting for the video playback bug to get fixed. Once that's sorted I'll be using it all the time.
Guest gurujockstrap Posted September 18, 2006 Report Posted September 18, 2006 I'm using MortPlayer. Seems to do the job.
Guest swampcat Posted September 18, 2006 Report Posted September 18, 2006 I like to stream music and video from my pc to ppc so i use TCPMP. WMP give me an error when i try to launch the file
Guest noodles-21 Posted September 18, 2006 Report Posted September 18, 2006 (edited) Pocket Music player is just like using winamp! it's a great little program. especially for streaming radio from http://www.SHOUTcast.com Edited September 18, 2006 by noodles-21
Guest themitch Posted September 18, 2006 Report Posted September 18, 2006 (edited) Thanks for the replies, guys. I'm just going to give Mort and GSPlayer a try now ... I knew there'd be more that the two or 3 I found myself. I love this forum! I assume these will all work with my bluetooth stereo headset? Edited September 18, 2006 by themitch
