Is TomTom 5.21 compatible with Smartphones?

I have TomTom 5.20 installed just fine, but I'd like to know if 5.21 is compatible as well. I've been having trouble with the installation of 5.21 on my HTC Tornado. I have downloaded the 5.21 update from the TomTom website but it seems that the installation file is incompatible. I understand that some PPC versions will not work with Smartphones but I cannot find a Smartphone version. I have seen some people stating that they are running 5.21 with HTC smartphones so I would like to know the details of their installation. If you could help me with the installation (or give me a definitive answer to the thread title), I would be eternally grateful, thanks!

As I understand it TomTom Mobile 5.2 is the latest Smartphone version (not counting TomTom 6 which is coming soon). TomTom Navigator 5.21 is the latest Pocket PC version and won't run on Smartphone.

Apparently version 6 will be cross platform though...

First I've heard.

As for TomTom Mobile in the USA, TomTom has not sold the Smartphone version in the US only the PocketPC version is available.

Thank you for the replies. I guess I'll have to wait a bit until TomTom releases their Smartphone products here.

On another note, is there any way I can log the raw GPS data (that is, NMEA logs etc.) while TomTom 5.20 is running? TomTom 5.20 doesn't support logging (or route saving, for that matter) and Franson's GPS gate doesn't support Smartphones (only PPCs). In addition, I know that WM5 for PPC phones has GPS sharing so that multiple applications can access a bluetooth GPS, but WM5 for Smartphones cannot access this feature. It seems as if we've got everything going against us Smartphone users!

I'd like to be able to keep track of my travels and perhaps import them to Google Earth. But sometimes when I don't know where I'm going I need TomTom to help me out. But then I can't continue logging my route.
