customizing start menu on wm2003

hi! first of all, im thinking that if i could stop the phone from display the icons, then the start menu would load faster. anyone know a way to do this? maybe replacing all the font files with an image with nothing but one pixel in it?

also, i was wondering if i could make the font size smaller so that instead of displaying eight things, it would display, say 12 or 15 or whatever.

With Abstract Start you can change the start menu display a little (12 icons, 11 icons, 9 icons, etc.). You can also sort it. And it's free so even if you hate it you can dump it.

cool! thanks for that. i'll definitely give it a go, but im looking more for something that will make the normal list layout smaller, so that i can fit more links on each page.
