Guest Grammaton Posted September 20, 2006 Report Posted September 20, 2006 I've read tru a bunch of posts on setting up wav or wma files as ringtones and it seemed simple enough. But the files do not show up when I try to select a ringtone in the "sounds" setup screen. I just get the standard set of ringtones that came with the phone. Here's what I've done to try to fix it to no avail: 1. Placed the files in /Windows folder, or /My Documents, or /My Documents/My Sound folder 2. Converted wav file to wma file using WMP to synch to phone. 3. Associated wma file to WMP using phone's File Manager b/c I installed TCPMP. Am I missing something here? The sound setup screen doesn't give me an option to search for files, so I'm guessing it's supposed to update itself. Any help would be great. Thanks.

I placed the files in the wrong folders. Should have just stuck it in my Storage Card folder from the start. I just assumed the Windows folder was the place since the other ringtones are there.
