SPV update

Can this work when i connect the phone with the pc ?

I mean, i can only update the spv through gprs, or i can do it through the computer ?

P.S. Of course when an update will be available, i think there isnt any yet...

Should be able to. In fact, since the phone must be plugged in for ROM updates anyway it's probably best to do it this way.

Just go to settingsdata connections and change internet connection

to pass through connection or automatic so when it's in the cradle

you will be able to update via your pc ;)

In a very old post but it's been mentioned before, I think it was Paul who has tried this method out.

when i try appears this message : this service is only available for use with orange network.

Not really

When you go to

ProgramsSettingsData connection are you getting this message when

you click on the "Internet connection" tab? as you should have the option to switch between Automatic, Orange CSD wap, Orange GPRS and Pass through connection.

I cannot replicate this error you are getting.

I read somewhere in this forum that Orange will also provide the update from their Orange Shops and through SD cards.

I can't say if that will be true or not though.

I must do a hard reset and now it works...
