Guest casManG Posted September 20, 2006 Report Posted September 20, 2006 I have been looking all over the place and I can't seem to find the answer to this. Is there something I can install to allow me to have multiple (or tabbed) browser windows on the internet explorer that comes with my smartphone (cingular 3125, WM5 for smartphone)? I thought I stumbled across something that would do this for me, but I can't seem to find it again.
Guest Meneldor Posted September 21, 2006 Report Posted September 21, 2006 MultiIE 4.0 is what you need. http://www.multiie.info

Guest jasnewt Posted September 22, 2006 Report Posted September 22, 2006 I tried installing this program on my C600 and it seemed like a very early beta, with badly formatted options screens etc. In fact it totally locked up my phone, and screwed it up to the point where I was forced to do a hard reset. Has anyone got this working properly? Jason.

I had just hoped there was a utility that allowed for multiple windows rather than having so many features that it is hard to use. -Carl

It needs a lot more work before I would try it again. I don't really know of anything else for the Smartphone. The Opera browser is better than Internet Explorer (you can have multiple windows) but I have found that it doesn't work well with WM5. Hopefully the rumoured update will arrive before WM8 is released...... Jason.
