Guest Paul (MVP) Posted September 21, 2006 Report Posted September 21, 2006 Oh, those lucky lucky O2 Germany types! Not only will they be enjoying the HTC Excalibur very soon as the XDA Cosmo, the::unwired is reporing that the HTC Artemis / HTC Love will be hitting the streets branded as the XDA Orbit! The device, HTC's first Phone device with integrated GPS, packs SiRF III GPS, WiFi, microSD... but fails to include UMTS / HSDPA. The processor is also a TI OMAP 850, rather than the speedier Samsung 400MHz unit to be found in the HTC Hermes and the forthcoming HTC Trinity. No word yet on launch in other O2 territories... although we hear that the same device, albeit sans-wifi, will be coming to T-Mobile too. P [Disclaimer: Paul's news catch-up...]
Guest Perfectionist Posted September 21, 2006 Report Posted September 21, 2006 Some sites say the Artemis will take MicroSd - others are saying MiniSD ..... WTF ?? !!

Guest fluffcat1 Posted September 23, 2006 Report Posted September 23, 2006 What is the price for this phone and is there a link for a site that sells it? As it's o2 branded the online price will be subsidised and subject to an airtime agreement being signed. o2 do not retail their branded devices without a contract - any for sale seperatley are technically used. P [Disclaimer: Paul's news catch-up...] Do we reckon that the decision made by O2/HTC to end their relationship the day after O2 Germany announced these phones will have any effect on any decision for O2 in other countries to launch these models?
