Guest sitchey Posted September 21, 2006 Report Posted September 21, 2006 (edited) Hi I have set up TomTom Mobile on my qtec 8310, and I got it conencted to my parrot CK3300 for phone calls, but I cant create a connection to from my phone to the GPS reciver built into the handsfree kit. I used to have a PDA and I was able to create a bluetooth data connection to the device which worked. I have read on article on the forum explaining how to create and outgoing port to connect to it. but the "New Outgoing Port" option is greyed out on my phone when I try to create a new com port. I have also tried to run the "AnyGPSTweak.cab" suggested on this post, but still no joy. Has anyone been able to do this? Any help would be much appreciated Edited September 21, 2006 by sitchey

Any help would be much appreciated Switch to the Bluetooth devices settings an rename "Parrot CK3300" to "Parrot CK3300 GPS" (without the "). Run TomTom, press 5-6-6-6-1 to go to the GPS-Status. Select "Config" an select "Another GPS Device". Wait a moment and it shold work then. If you're parrot-firmware is before 4.15a you have to disconnect the phone over the parrot-menu before TomTom can connect to GPS. The TomTom update 5.2 is also needed. Have you tried to decertifying your phone? Download regeditSTG and place the containing regedit.exe somewhere on your phone. Execute it and navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\Policies\Policies Then change the following values to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\Policies\Policies\00001001 = 1 HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\Policies\Policies\00001005 = 40 HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\Policies\Policies\0000101b = 1
