Fixed icons on WM5 homescreen - is that possible?

Hi all,

I was wondering if it is possible to somehow stop the icons on the homescreen from automatically changing? The way it is now the icons shown are always for the 5 programs I've used last. I would like to be able to select the icons so that I can have easy access to the five programs I use most... just like you place icons for often-used programs on the desktop of your PC. Is this possible?

Yes there is! :( The best way would be to purchase SBSH facade - it includes a launcher bar that can be placed on your homescreen & contains specific links to set apps that remain static. The main advantage of this is that you can set the shortcuts yourself in the facade settings, so you can choose what shortcuts are displayed & they will wlays be there. Other than this there are free options like the RJshortcut plugin, or the old orange plugin - but you would need to be willing to recode the xml files to point at whatever shortcuts you wanted.
