C600 WHITE SCREEN! - ANY ESCAPE?

Does any one know of any applications with which I can rescue my Phone. :(

Whilst re-flashing one of my C600's I lost my sync connection for some unknown reason.

Now I can't get connectivity and just get the dreaded White Screen

Has anyone fond a way out of this yet??? :rolleyes:

Press and hold the Camera button and connect your phone. If it lights in 3 color mode, then start the update process from the begining. If it doesn`t - it`s a very bad news.

Try and claim a warranty repair, you will be covered if you were flashing with an official ROM.

You may need to go through HTC rather than Orange but it's definately wortha try.

so the bootloader is corrupted? eek!

having said that i'll have it off you :( need some spares for my qtek.... think i'll be rehousing it. even better as i got paid today :)

you can have the screen for free so long as Potatohead lets me have it (@potatohead - how much?) :rolleyes: I'm looking to rehouse my 8310 in the c600 shell, so this is perfect as it includes the keypad circuit board as well :(

also i can use the faulty mainboard to look for JTAG points without worrying too much about frying it... if i succeed in finding those JTAG points i'll be able to reflash the bootloader, so i'll then be able to repair phones flashed with the wrong ROM update ( like awarner's c550)

I didn't realise it would be such a popular item being duff an' all.

I don't know what Modaco rules are about selling stuff on here are??

But i'd rather keep it in the "family" so to speak rather than punt it out on ebay.

If anyone is seriously interested please PM me about it, especially if you want foto's or anything of the handset before comitting.

It'll come complete with battery, so whatever the price of a used original battery is plus a bit to lessen the pain. Its in near Mint nick with a screen protector & de-orange-badged.

But essentially pitched as a non-working break for spares handset.

I was going to keep it as spares for my second C600 but i am now looking into the Imate SPL.

I'll sort a maximum price out in the PM and will send same to all who message me and then take first best offer etc etc....

Or if people prefer I can punt it on ebay for sum bidding fun.
