louder mic recording

its been talked about but all the topics are never answered.

is there a way to make the mic record louder probably by editing the registry?

and also ive posted 1 or 2 topics about getting the speakerphone and windows media player louder but havnt got much info back. people have told about changing the values to CC and DD and FF but anything past CC makes the left headphone on the headset not work, and it didnt even seem to make the speakphone louder.

so if anyones experimented with changing the registry of the mic and the speakerphone then could u post ur results here?
