Does Navigon Navigator 5 Work?

I had Navigon Navigotor Mobile 5 working on my PDA, but since then I have sold the PDA and purchased a Qtec 8310.

I havent been able to succesfuuly install Navigator on the qtec yet, as i recieve the error message "insnt compatible with this device"

has anyone been able to get this working on their device? I prefer to Navigon over TomTom, as they have much more detailed maps for Ireland, so I would love to get this program working again.

yeah I have seen that on the Navigon website before, but I was looking to know if anyone has been able to get it running anyway with a tweak.. like tomtom before the 5.2 update came out

I'm guessing you have Navigon for Pocket PC. The 8310 is a Smartphone device, not Pocket PC, so navigon won't work. The tweak for tomtom was to make it work on QVGA screens, not to make a Pocket PC version work on a Smartphone.

Navigon seem to have a Mobile Phone version (doesn't specify what phones it works on) but is limited to coverage of Germany, The Alps or France only. No other countries are listed.
