Messenger in WM5 - Contacts Gone Screwy!

Hi,

I seem to be having problems with MSN Messenger & was wondering if anyone has had the same problem or knows how to fix it.

I have a T-Mobile MDA Vario (HTC Wizard) with WM5 AKU2.

If I use Messenger on my WM5 device I am not getting correct information regarding contacts. One of my contacts does not show on my mobile device, while another shows twice. But it isn't even as straightforward as just that one contact showing incorrectly. All the contacts are not the ones that they are shown to be. for example, the other day I had train delays, so went on Messenger to tell my boss I'd be late. Got a message back saying "WTF?". Turned out that the message went to someone completely different.

This, as you could imagine, is making Messenger completely useless as I have no idea who I would be messaging.

The contact properties do not show the TRUE details either.

I can check that it is "lying" by logging in on my PC then on my mobile and seeing that they are completely different.

Any ideas what might be causing this?

Better still, what can be done to correct it?
