Cingular 2125 AKU2.0 t9 woes

I know this is an old topic, but I am just curious what some of you have done to work around it?

I curse the thing almost daily. Early on I had gotten some response from HTC Support and I was sending them info. on the problem since they had not heard of a problem with the new ROM. But shortly after they quit responding so I'm guessing they know of it now. But I have not seen anywhere of any fixes or workarounds other than just typing slower. On mine each key seems to have its own odd behavior. Some keys you have to type real fast to keep from getting garbage, others you have to type slower to keep from getting garbage. Altering the multi-press timeout doesn't really seem to help me I just leave it on 1/2 second. :rolleyes:

have you thought about downgrading your rom back to the previous version (radio fix version)?

Considered it but I like so many of the new little tweaks in this ROM that I don't want to go back. Hoping that soon that HTC and Cingular would come out with a fix.
