how do i set my carrier on Qtek 8300

I bought a Qtek 8300 in Amsterdam last week and brought it home to Vancouver BC to use on the rogers network. The phone works great but it shows i am roaming, not a huge problem but i want my settings for push email to function so that i have to manually sync when roaming and sync as new items arrive when i am connect to rogers network.

Is it possible to fix this???

It will only show as roaming if you have one SIM and are using another. If you have a rogers SIM and are using the rogers network then it should not show as roaming. Are you sure you are using the rogers network?

The only Time I know this wasn't the case was when I think it was Cingular bought AT&T and AT&T was showing as roaming on cingular or vice-versa when they were actually one network.

its a rogers sim, it doesnt show roaming when i use it on my hp6915...

and when i lookup carriers it shows i am on rogers.
