v1240 Push e-mail problems

I am trying to set up direct push e-mail using activesync on a vodafone v1240 (running windows mobile 5)with AKU 2.0 enabled.

Activesync has been set up to access my work exchange server and works fine. The problem is that when setting the schedule for syncronisation, there is no option available to syncronise "as new items arrive" - this does not appear on the schedule list which gives you the choice to automatically sync between every 5 mins to 4 hours.

Can anyone help?

Push email WILL sync as new items arrive.... thats the entire point of push mail.

Also why is this topic in the HTC Hermes Section? :rolleyes:

For future reference, the v1240 is a HTC Tornado so please post in that section when relating to that device :(
