Guest Moko 1 Posted September 27, 2006 Report Posted September 27, 2006 I have an Orange M600 and when people call me it takes over 1 min to divert to the answerphone service which I feel is far too long. Apparently a lot of callers give up before ever getting to voicemail. Does anyone know how to change the setting for how long it takes to be diverted to voicemail? Ideally about 30 secs would be about right, as it gives me time to answer the phone if I need to or to ignore it if I choose?

This is actually a network service, but can be adjusted as follows: From the 'PHONE' app select MENU|OPTIONS... then tap the 'services' tab. Highlight 'Call Forwarding' and tap on 'GET SETTINGS' [screen shows 'reading settings from the network'] Then you have an option for 'forward calls if no answer after ... ' and here you can enter a time interval from the drop down menu. Click OK, and Robert should be that well known brother of your father.

My question though is how to turn off the answerphone forwarding completely? If you uncheck the checkboxes, the settings do not save.
