i have finally got the orange security disable file thing, but have no idea how to use it on my phone can anyone help please? i have some themes i want to test. i was advised that my phone needed the application unlocking..hope this is it. thanks! :rolleyes:

hello! i scanned through the email which orange sent to me again they didnt send any instructions :( just a small file called "security_*******************" with * being my imei number am i just susposed to put the file on the phone somewhere?anyone know what directory. it dosnt seem to have any file extension name. oh well

Please add the .exe extension to the "security" file, unzip this application , connect your phone to your PC, and run the application on your PC. It should install a "Security Level" application in your phone's Accessories menu.

Run the Security Level application, select the desired security level, and press Action. This should set the security level on your device, allowing you to run applications on the device.

If this fails please check that the IMEI you supplied to us is correct and respond to this email with the correct IMEI or detailing at which stage the failure occurred.

A High Security Level corresponds to the security set by factory defaults.

A Low Disabled Level corresponds to the security set by the web-based Certificate Security Disabling procedure (formerly called Unlocking).

thanks disco! i sent a mail to orange and they forgot to send me the instructions so i was able to get it up and running! now i actually see everybodys home screens! thanks again :(
