Guest adge Posted September 27, 2006 Report Posted September 27, 2006 I noticed that my free program memory was getting a bit low on my Vario II today, so I finally had a nose for the PIE clear cache button. I couldn't believe it ! When I cleared the cache, it freed up 15Mbytes of space !! Does anyone know if there is a limit on how big this can get, and if PIE has any management at all to stop this from filling up the device completely ? Adge

Adge I'd don't know whether there are any limits. I recommend putting it on a storage card (see Paul's free software thread). Richard
Guest randomelements Posted September 27, 2006 Report Posted September 27, 2006 You can edit the max cache size in the registry: HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\5.0\Cache\Content\CacheLimit By default it's set to 18600kb
Guest adge Posted September 27, 2006 Report Posted September 27, 2006 Thanks. Can't believe the default is so large. I might just move it to the storage card. Adge
