Guest coleburg Posted September 27, 2006 Report Posted September 27, 2006 i often add music to the memory card on my sp5m and them have to update the library to see the new tracks. but all the ringtomes go back into the library and i have to remove them everytime. is there a way around this, perhaps only update the library from one folder for example. thanks for any help-.
Guest grumpy_old_technobyte Posted September 27, 2006 Report Posted September 27, 2006 I have to remove the ringtones from the library alot too. What i did to work around this is name the album of all ringtones simply "ringtones". This way when you go to play by album, find the created ringtone album and delete it from the library. It just makes it quicker than deleting each and every single track.

Is there a setting i need to change. thanks
Guest Mancom Posted September 28, 2006 Report Posted September 28, 2006 After adding files to memory card, go to Media Player, then in menu go to Open File. Select folder where you have your music and click Open. Media Library should be updated now, with new added files. Works for me, anyway. Mancom.
