Vario Vs Vario 2

Hi

I am wanting to get the Vario 2 however I also want the CoPilot or similar.

Problem is that T-mobile are offering the Vario free with the Copilot at the moment but havn't released this with the Vario 2 yet.

Considering both packages are free with the tarif I need and that I would have to buy the Copilot or something similar separatelly is it worth getting the older vario especially as I do not need a better camera or do any video calls?

Oh what to do?

The old one sucks! No Wifi, no 3G (that im aware of?) and its slowwwww.

You're better off getting a Vario 2 and buying the software.

Well to be honest at least the vario didnt have so many bugs and the vario does have wifi, am on my second vario II.

My orginal vario is still going strong, to me the main difference apart from the apperance as the vario II is a good looking machine, is the addition of the jog dial and HSDPA thats has made a whole lot of difference.

But I agree wait for a while to all the bugs have ironed out and get a Vario II

The Vario II is a far beter machine which is why T are throwing CoPilot with the Vario. If you use any data at all get the vario II on a W'n'W pro tariff and get CoPilot seperatly.

The vario is a nice machine but has been superceded by the II and 3.5G on the II with unlimited data is great

Having owned both, with the latest software, the device is quick enough. If you're not bothered about 3G, .11G WiFi or the caerma, then I'd say go for it.
