WiFi ONLY!

Hi all,

Just got the 8125 and am really impressed from coming from a mpx220. I have been messing with the network settings and they are confusing. I want to be able to only use WiFi as the only network connection. I cannot seem to find this setting. The phone tries to connect gprs or modem anytime WiFi is not connected. Is there anyway to disable all network connections besides WiFi?

You can check in the Comms Manager that you have the network set up and working correctly.

One way to test if you have set it up is to turn the radio off so it can not connect to gprs.

you could also use the new utility that Paul posted in the software section

it will allow you to disable your gprs conections.
