Unbranding an SPV c600

I am trying to unbrand my Orange SPV C600 and when I try to run the rom update for the Imate SP5 it fails. I have run the ROM update from Orange and thsi worked OK but I cannot unbrand it.

I have unlocked the phone an dI have also read something about the CID but I did not get enought info to be able to understand what to do.

Can someone point me in the right direction to unbrand the phone

First thing you have to do as you said is CID unlock your phone. As you've already SIM unlocked it this shouldn't be a problem. Download the SPV Services Client from HERE and then select CID Tool from the left had menu and change your CID=11111111

Congratualtions! your phone is now CID unlocked :(

Now go grab your i-Mate SP5 ROM update and run it and it should install without a hitch :rolleyes:

When I run the SPVservice.exe I get the followin error going into the CID tool (ALPHA)

You need to manually change some registry keys first to do the 1st stage of the Application Unlock in order to run spv-services
