Guest weeerob Posted September 28, 2006 Report Posted September 28, 2006 Has anyone been able to get it to work? What ever keys I assign to it don't get recognised so I'm unable to unlock it and have to reset it. If anyone has any alternative software that works in the same way, ie keeps the device on but turns off the screen and buttons then that would be great. I've tried the pmTouch and Screen Guard but they don't seem to work very well. I've used deltaLock in the past and thats what I would like to continue with. Cheers, Rob.
Guest waroffice Posted September 29, 2006 Report Posted September 29, 2006 whats wrong with the normal device lock.... Add it to the today screen under setting, today, items thats what i use when playing music

Well because if you press the power button then it goes off and the music stops playing, DeltaLock disables the power button as well.

Surely if the power button is disabled then the only way to start the device is with a soft-reset? Personally I'd just set your backlight to go off after 1 minute and use the built in device lock.

The power button is disabled but you press a key combination to unlock it, screen is off and doesn't come on when touched. If I have it in my pocket and I'm walking about then the screen will probably be getting turned on everytime I take a step. Anyway to get this thread back on track, has anyone got DeltaLock working on a Vario II.
