My SDA II can not boot - white screen please heeeelp!

Can not start bootloader, only white screen

How did this happen? if you were trying to run a ROM update and stopped the update somehow then there is a chance that the phone is dead.

Have you tried to do a hard reset?

hate to tell you but your phone is officially dead. nothing us mere mortals here on modaco can do for it that will bring it back. however if you have insurance i recommend you claim on it. also you can contact HTC via their website and book it in for repair. cost of repairing a bootloader is 31 quid without any other work.

Unfortunately the fun of playing with dodgy roms is the risk of killing the phone.

If you have tried something like the WM5 Douton then all you can try and do is send the phone to HTC for repair which they will charge for.

hav u tried pluging it in and installing a new rom?

If all you have is the white screen and the ROM was from the Douton device then flashing by the normal means is impossible.

I did the flash experiment a few months back on my own device just to prove that it will kill it and could not be revived.

Never did get round to sending it off for repair.
