Guest Meowarf Posted September 30, 2006 Report Posted September 30, 2006 Hi everyone, I'm new here. I have recently gotten the T-Mobile SDA and I was wondering how to use bluetooth? I know how to turn it on and make it discoverable but how do I send files and vice versa? I was also wondering if the WiFi is free on the SDA. If so, why is there a $19.99 plan for WiFi on the T-Mobile site? Thanks a lot in Advance, MeowArf
Guest notaliberal Posted October 2, 2006 Report Posted October 2, 2006 To send a file via bluetooth: make sure the device your'e sending TOO is discoverable adn you have paired with it. In file manager, highlight file you wish to send and choose menu -> send -> beam it will then show a screen that will search for both bluetooth AND Infrared devices. Once you see the device there, choose it. For the WiFi: It's inherently free. The stupid 19.99 plan is just so you can use the t-mobile hot-spots, which is just a wireless internet connection at various places in your metro area such as coffee shops, etc. Many of these (bruegers bagels, for instance) have their own free wifi available for use. And, of course, if you have wireless internet at home, you can use that. That's WiFi. Heck, drive down a local suburban street with your wirelss on and you'll see networks come and go as you pass people with wireless internet in the home. Good luck,
