Guest flodis79 Posted September 30, 2006 Report Posted September 30, 2006 I associated a certain file type to a certain application a while ago, but mistakenly it was the wrong app. Now I want to do a re-association - but the phone won't allow me in the File Manager. Is there another way to do it? Have looked in the file types directory in the registry but to no avail..
Guest sporkguy Posted October 2, 2006 Report Posted October 2, 2006 Best thing to do is probably to search the whole registry for the extension you're looking to change (use the 'Find' function of regeditSTG or your preferred editor) - and then change it manually from there. HTH
