Guest Chaos Posted September 30, 2006 Report Posted September 30, 2006 Compared to my old SPV c500 I'm disappointed by the battery life on my v1240, or at least sometimes am. On some ocassions I can go without charging it for a couple of days (leaving it on at night), but often I find the battery meter drops quite rapidly and get a 'battery low' warning after only a day's use. Could I have faulty battery (and if so will a c500 battery work)? Also, how much does bluetooth and wi-fi affect the battery life? I have both switched off most of the time. However, I could leave the bluetooth on my c500 on all the time and it hardly affected battery life at all. Thank you, and sorry if I'm repeating an existing topic.
Guest Chaos Posted October 1, 2006 Report Posted October 1, 2006 Just noticed that despite my phone being on my desk unused for the past few hours, the screen is still on. Maybe that is what is shortening the battery life. In the settings I've told it to switch the screen off after a minute of not being used, so why is it still on?

(krussels are too bulky for my liking but seems i may have to settle for one!) have fun!
