Removing programs problems Qtec 8500

Just a quick simply question (hopefully) ?

I've installed a few programs, didn't like them so un-installed them, nice and easy so far.......

The problem now is I have a Unknown icon appearing at the top of the screen (Windows default theme) I asume this is a lnk to the orginal programme.

Does anyone know were windows stores these files, can it be removed etc

Also does anyone know of any SMS replacement software that allows standard text input (SPELL Mode not the nasty T9) with a realtime word suggestion (Like T9 has).

Dont worry those icons will go away as you use other icons they will basically get pushed off the home page. nothing to worry about.

And try hitting the star key to change modes from t9, numbers and regular. just keep hitting it till you get the right one. it shows in upper right hand corner what text input mode you're in.
