Guest The Doctor Posted October 2, 2006 Report Posted October 2, 2006 (edited) best way out of it is a hard reset if you can't get it to boot at all. you can look up how to hard reset your device in the relevant device specific forum  phil [EDIT: And welcome to MoDaCo :(] Edited October 2, 2006 by The Doctor

Press 8 to select 'Erase IPSM data'. 5. When it has finished doing this (it takes a while), it will say PASSED. Press the left direction pad twice and choose 3 to close the diagostics. 6. On the three colour 'Canary PV' screen, hold the power button down. This will re-start the phone with the Orange Sunset screen. Edited October 7, 2006 by forsaken028
Guest awarner (MVP) Posted October 7, 2006 Report Posted October 7, 2006 Make sure you have a storage card in the phone as it slows the whole process down. It's a matter of practice to get the timing right when doing the hard reset. Having a -1 in the inbox is an old problem we call a phantom SMS it's nothing to worry about as the hard reset will also fix that. As for not turning on anymore, may be worth trying to charge the battery
