Guest richard_d Posted October 2, 2006 Report Posted October 2, 2006 I have my Vario Ii connected to my work PC on a docking station most of the day, which worked fine. I noticed this morning when I removed it I couldn't access the Internet. On checking the settings my work Proxy details were filled in, hence it wasn't working. Clearing these meant it connected via GPRS fine, but after returning it to the cradle and removing it again, the Proxy settings returned. I've been using it like this for weeks and not had this problem before. The only thing I can think of that may have changed the devices behaviour is that on Friday I installed PIE plus, but had to deinstall yesterday, due to it causing the browser to regularly crash. Any ideas how to stop the proxy settings being automatically completed (or ideally for them to only hold when the device is connected via active sync)? Any alternatives to PIE Plus that don't affect the stability of the browser? Thanks, Richard

Thanks, Richard Solved the proxy problem by setting up a separate connection with the proxy settings, which now leaves the main connection untouched. Odd! Still interested if anyone else has had issues with PIE plus or can recommend an alternative. Richard
