Guest peacesquid Posted October 3, 2006 Report Posted October 3, 2006 Hi people, i connected my m500 this morning, via usb, to my PC but nothing happened. activesync just wasnt seeing the phone at all. so i reinstalled activesync and did a soft-reset on the m500. no joy. tried a different usb port (Pocket PC USB Sync popped up from the system tray) but still no activesync goodness. brought it into work. different PC but same results (fresh activesync install as well) so the prob is deffo with the m500. any ideas for me? thanks in advance!
Guest Sp00k Posted October 3, 2006 Report Posted October 3, 2006 I'd be interested to know if THIS works for you. Regards, Sp00k...

Guest peacesquid Posted October 3, 2006 Report Posted October 3, 2006 slight problem. (bear in mind that Activesync did actually work last time I tried it.) Mobile Device is showing up in Windows Explorer but has no content (because I cant sync I guess). so I cant put the USB Killer cab file on my m500 (well... not until i get home where I've got an SD reader). still confused as to what could have caused this.
Guest peacesquid Posted October 3, 2006 Report Posted October 3, 2006 update. hard reset has fixed the problem. cant be doing that everytime though!
Guest peacesquid Posted October 3, 2006 Report Posted October 3, 2006 update. hard reset has fixed the problem. cant be doing that everytime though! tried restoring to that last backup and it wont sync. is deffo a software issue on the m500. probably just a setting. any ideas?
Guest peacesquid Posted October 3, 2006 Report Posted October 3, 2006 USB Killer wasnt a valid PPC application apparently.
Guest Sp00k Posted October 3, 2006 Report Posted October 3, 2006 (edited) USB Killer wasnt a valid PPC application apparently. I don't see how that can be, it installs and runs fine on my Vario I PPC and C600 Smartphone... EDIT: ARGH! Sorry for wasting your time, I just looked up the M500 and realised that it's a WM2003 device.... USB Killer is designed to run on WM5 phones... :( Edited October 3, 2006 by Sp00k
