M3100 Repair Options

So I finally got my SPV M3100 after 4 weeks of waiting and an O CS rep saying "ooh sorry we must've missed you accidentally!"

BUT i get my phone and its got a damn awful mark/chip on the screen! this is a little annoying. :( So I rang O CS today at first opportunity and was told I have 2 options;

[*]Pay over

Surely they are having a laugh and I should be able to just get it changed over straight away as a customer that should have a fully working upgrade already...

I can't see how they can do anything other than replace it straight away (assuming they have them in stock).

Always start your conversation of with "I've been speaking to my mate who works for trading standards and he said..." amazing how quick you get the answer you want after that.
