Activating Keylock on an SPV M600

Hiya,

I don't mean to sound really thick, but I've been through the manual of my new M600 and I can't seem to find any instructions for the keypress needed to manually lock the keys.

At the moment, unless I leave it alone to lock by itself, the screen stays on in its case and it drains the battery. :rolleyes:

Any help would be muchly appreciated!

Just to let you know, I found it in the end. How embarrassing! :rolleyes:

In case anyone faces the same problem, simply press and hold the hangup button (Red phone symbol) :rolleyes:

Hi,

is there any way at all to set the phone up with a different unlock method? At present i have to press the left softkey to initiate unlock, followed by the * key (i-mate sp5m). Unfortunatley, what with smartphones being so wonderfully contructed, my * key no longer functions, and if the phone gets locked it cannot be unlocked without spending about an hour pressing the button with various implements at varying degrees of force. Please tell me there is a way (registry?.. anything!) to change this, as without being able to lock the phone i cannot carry it around with me.

I really love smartphones but they are so badly manufacured it is a joke. Every single one iv'e had will have some hardware problem after about 4 months, either the joystick stops working or the keypad goes. Not sure theyre worth the hassle anymore, despite the fact that you can do so so much more with them. Whats the point if after 4 months you cant unlock your phone, or scroll down with the joystick? Sorry for rant - can anuone help with the unlock thing?
