using orange plugin with an existing homescreen

hi! i made a homescreen a while ago, and the only problem with it is that there isnt enough room for both the missed calls plugin and the voicemail plugin, so they end up canceling each other out. i was wondering how i would go about using the orange plugin to make them both stay on the same line.

the bottom grey bar is where both the voicemail and missed calls plugins go. one on the right, the other on the left.

incidentally, if you want to use this homescreen yourself, it uses RJShortcut and Smartmonitor.

Try to find a homescreen that contains 2 plugins nested in the orange plugin, then copy the code & replace the shortcuts with whatever you want them to be. Try looking at my 'Outlook' screen, it had 2 static plugins nested in the orange plugin. :rolleyes:

DrBlow, I downloaded your outlook screen and tried to install but got an error message (insufficient permissions). Can you provide the homscreen.xml file as I am having real trouble trying to get anything to sit side-by-side using the Orange plugin on my C500

No need to worry - I have just worked out how to extract your files and have installed manually. Now I should be able to figure out how all this works!!
