WM5 homescreen xml help

perhaps i just need to step back and relax awhile, but this has been kicking my butt for a few hours now. up to this point, everything works perfectly until i get to the profile and sms part. if i don't have the bgimage part in there, it works fine, but when i add the bgimage="\Application Data\Home\LED\mail.jpg" and view the home screen, i get a big white box telling me "the layout you have selected cannot be".

the homescreen is supposed to load a new image when selected. have i got a word or something wrong? thanks.

Hi Joshua, just tried your file out and it works OK but you have to put your 'profile.jpg' and 'mail.jpg' images in a SEPARATE folder named LED and place this in Application Data/Home .Regards...Looby. :rolleyes:

i did that ... they're in the same directory as the main background image, which is located in the LED folder in the home directory. i don't get any blantant problems when i load in quickly in firefox, but it won't work on my phone.

As your file works fine on my SP5 the only thing that will stop it is if you haven't got your images in the right format or they are not labeled exactly...Looby <_

here are the three images in the xml. all images are the same width and everything. i should also thank the origional artist. i downloaded this theme from jd skins but it was all in french. i tweeked it to my liking, or at least am trying to. does it work on other people's phones?
