What exactly is happening? Does the computer recognise the 9100 in any way, shape or form?

If it does, what it the computer telling you?

If it does not... this wouldn't be too good. Maybe try another cable, maybe another computer just to be sure...

:(

sounds like a firewall issue? Have you got zonealarm or anything similar running? If not check that Windows firewall has allow Activesync in its exceptions

Yeah. If the computer recognises the device, and there are no faults in Devce Manager, then it would be safe to assume that something is blocking the traffic to and from Active Sync - hence the fact it can not detect your device.

Dbl check FIrewall, AV, etc.

Alternatively, uncheck the USB - PC advanced connectivity box in Start > Settings > Connections > PC to USB. This will take away the TCP/IP connection, and elimintate firewall as a problem.

I think <_<

Nope i dont have any firewall on. Im also using sp 1 so i dont think there is any firewall. I also dont have any anti virsus programs so i still dont know whats blocking it.
