Guest RichardK Posted October 6, 2006 Report Posted October 6, 2006 Hi, Has anybody got a ck3100 bluetooth car kit and if so, does it work with the m3100. Looked at the parrot forum and found a mixture of people saying no and some saying sort of. Thanks Richard
Guest Happy Dave Posted October 6, 2006 Report Posted October 6, 2006 Hi not a 3100 but a Wizard with the latest ROM. Had it installed last week and its fantastic. Have to use JEWARE though to get all the info onto the screen. There were similar thread about the wizard and problems but it works great
Guest robt Posted October 6, 2006 Report Posted October 6, 2006 Ive just installed a CK3300 to use with my Tytn today. The install went well (I had iso leads as standard). Initial impressions are good, the gps works fine, if a little slow to aquire a signal at the start. Phone is working fine, mute works and the speech and rings are through the speakers. The gps nav software speech isnt through the speakers at the moment and I have so far been unable to update the firmware (running something like 4.11 at the mo). Overall first impressions are good, have installed jetware to sort the contact sync problem. Give it a go.

Just ordered it, but fitting is looking difficult as nobody seems to know how to get the radio/gps screen out of the dashboard (new honda accord). Probably cost more for honda to fit then the thing cost! Thanks for your help Richard
Guest dunc Posted October 8, 2006 Report Posted October 8, 2006 Hi, Has anybody got a ck3100 bluetooth car kit and if so, does it work with the m3100. Looked at the parrot forum and found a mixture of people saying no and some saying sort of. Thanks Richard I have the CK3100 and it works a treat...most of the time. sometimes it doesn't hook up to the phone properly and you have to either switch off the engine to to shut down the bluetooth module in the carkit and/or soft reset the phone to get it all working. That aside, sound is much better than it was with my old XDAiis and synchronisation works perfectly of the address book (providing you have latest firm/software in the CK3100). My phone isn't a 3100, it's a v1605 (hermes) on vodafone. Hope that helps. I also use a holux GPSlim236 which takes power from my brodit cradle via a molex adapter behind the dashboard. I find the hermes connects perfectly to the GPS, whereas the XDA was a little more reticent!

This is also a known problem on the Parrot forum with the Bluetooth on the M3100 getting switched off a minute or so after connecting to the CK3100. I've had this lots off times. Installed Jetware, could see no difference, removed it and the problem has gone?! Apparently this is worse with the latest (4.15?) firmware.
Guest grey Posted October 13, 2006 Report Posted October 13, 2006 I have a Parrot CK3100 and a XDA Exec and have been having connection problems since the day I purchased them, I have all the latest software and firmware but still I have constant disconnections?? I am now in contact with Parrott direct but they seem to be at a loss to why this keeps happening. I did think it was this type of phone and have considered a new model but reading this is not filling me with confidence. I know for sure it has something to do with the operating system on the phone or the BT software as I have a couple of other handsets that the car kit works perfectly with. Has anyone managed to get the XDA Exec or SPV 3100 working with this car kit with NO PROBLEMS straight from the box and for more than a month? If so please get in touch as I would love to hear from you.
