(I am doing it with my SPV E100)There is rumor that says that if you unlocking the US version of the phone (GSM 1800/1900) it unlocks youn the "hidden" European frequency - GSM 900 MHZ, is it true? Does someone tried it?Thanks.

I have used my mpx200 as a modem before and i have the 900Mhz band unlocked.
Guest awarner (MVP) Posted October 8, 2006 Report Posted October 8, 2006 Unlocking the 900Mhz band is not proven, a few of the early AT&T mpx200 units were tri-band but supposidly the later versions were only dual-band which was a hardware design and not software.
