I understand that you want to know if there is a piece of software that would tell you if someone else is listening in to your calls without your knowledge. I don't see how you could tell. The tap would most likely take place on the provider's network and not directly from your handset so there would be no way to detect that.

Guest audiophan Posted October 10, 2006 Report Posted October 10, 2006 Yeah, but you can also be tapped by some local device like FBI van :rolleyes: I mean some program that detects changes in frequency or something like that....it should be done... too much CSI for u. if the 'fbi' where to tap your phone i'm sure they would use sim cloning or other technique. and i doubt many of those who are in danger of that are busy writing smartphone software. finally any 'frequency' change other than normal frequency switching between towers, aka cingulars 850mhz > 1900mhz bands would require new hardware
