Hi all,

I want to amplify the output of my pc (normal output isn't high enough) for both headphones (sennheiser HD265) and speakers. Any suggestions????

Cheers!! :(

Here is a cheap amp that’s available, saw it on boing boing a while back.

apparently, even audiophiles can’t believe how good it is.

That's interesting as I have exactly the same headphones but the volume is low (I have checked the pc volume and WMP as well :) )

I mainly use them for work as a sound engineer, the headphone amp in a mixing desk is bigger than that of a laptop.

Although using them with my laptop, I never have had problems with them being too quiet.

As for a hifi amp, Richer have an Eltax one for 50 quid, or pay a little more and get a cambridge one
