Guest Ben Blok Posted October 8, 2006 Report Posted October 8, 2006 Hi, i'm using my HTC 8300 as an alarm clock to wake up in the mornings, the only problem I have is that when i'm half awak the three-button-press sequence to set it to snooze is quite a feat to perform (click right softkey, clock jog down a few times, pres jog) Why they made dismiss the default and most accessible option is beyond my comprehension, it's quite defenitive, and definetly not the way an alarm clock would behave, dismiss is the final option, after you dismiss there's no more alarm. Any suggestions on how to fix this would be nice, or directions to freeware simple (not with a dozen bells and whistles) alarm clocks would be welcome.
Guest johncody Posted October 8, 2006 Report Posted October 8, 2006 My alerts! app does have a lot of bells and whistles, but it also allows you to setup the "Default" value for virtually every setting - even the default snooze  So, once you set the snooze default, you would then only need to press one button to snooze an alert (at the snooze time you previously setup it to default to). More info on my app can be found here: http://www.omnisoft.com/alerts/default.asp
Guest Ben Blok Posted October 8, 2006 Report Posted October 8, 2006 I'm sorry, too much bells and whistles, I think i'll buy an $5 alarm clock and live with that.
