Guest barrybryce Posted October 8, 2006 Report Posted October 8, 2006 (edited) I'm currently on hold waiting for Orange Customer Services... and have been listening to the message saying I may experience a delay for two and a half hours. :( Do they still have staff these days? Edited October 8, 2006 by barrybryce
Guest Tech Posted October 8, 2006 Report Posted October 8, 2006 no they don't.... lol just hang up and try again....but yes, expect this!
Guest barrybryce Posted October 8, 2006 Report Posted October 8, 2006 (edited) Now three hours, plus I've tried a couple of times on my old payg phone . I'm not happy bunny; they used to be very good. Edit: Now four hours, still no joy, and I can't hold on any longer. I'm ever so slightly livid. Edited October 8, 2006 by barrybryce
Guest martin Posted October 8, 2006 Report Posted October 8, 2006 It sounds like you would be better off trying them on Monday
Guest sporkguy Posted October 8, 2006 Report Posted October 8, 2006 Four Hours? Most phones Orange sell would have died from lack of battery power by now!
Guest Neekos Posted October 8, 2006 Report Posted October 8, 2006 I think most people on Orange have noticed the mega deterioration in their customer service. I know that they recently cut the number of CSA's they have and since this the service has been really bad. Neekos.
Guest Tech Posted October 8, 2006 Report Posted October 8, 2006 (edited) i dont think orange realize about how crap they have become. seriously. I would cancel the contract and keep the phone and refuse to pay the remaining amount of the contract because of this service you are having...then throw a pie in their face... Edited October 8, 2006 by Tech
Guest barrybryce Posted October 8, 2006 Report Posted October 8, 2006 (edited) I've had an evening to calm down, but I'm still mad. Longest I've ever waited on the phone before by a large margin, and to still not get through after that is incredible If they've got rid of CSAs then it's certainly showing. I hope the tight fisted ----ards lose lots more than they saved in wages. I will need to dig out the contract and see if there's a way out. I got out a BT Cellnet contract ages ago for less nonsense than this. ... In order to come to Orange... re Sprokguy's comment, yes. You wouldn't need to be phoning about a problem with the battery. The phone was plugged into the charger for about the first two and a half hours. Edited October 8, 2006 by barrybryce
Guest barrybryce Posted October 11, 2006 Report Posted October 11, 2006 Anoher hour + wait, another promise to call back. I recognise a pattern
Guest markdotpeters5 Posted December 24, 2006 Report Posted December 24, 2006 Yes, Orange now suck, and have done for a while. I gave up after an hour and a half yesterday. I can't wait until april when Ii can cancel my contract and get rid of the toerags once and for all. I will never send a penny Orange's way again, no matter what phones they bring out!
