Guest stuartforrest Posted October 8, 2006 Report Posted October 8, 2006 When you are in agenda view in the MS Calendar app I dont like the way it defaults to adding an appointment an hour long. Is there any way, perhaps in the registry, that you could change the default length of this time. I am sure other calendar apps can do it but I have never got on with them as I like the simplicity of the MS calendar for my purposes. I would be grateful if anyone knows if you can do this.

Not too sure how to do what your assking, but I have an issue with the time slots it offers for setting appointments...The time slots only go up in half hour slots. I would like to set appointments at 5 or 10 minute intervals. When I manually type in the time using the number pad, it goes to the nearest half hour, which is highly annoying if I have an appointment at 9.15, I can only set it for either 9.00 or 9,30. When I create an appointment on outlook on the pc it will sync the correct time onto my device, but I cant seem to do it the other way round.
Guest Neil5459 Posted May 24, 2007 Report Posted May 24, 2007 You can do this from within the app itself Open Calendar, tap Menu/Tool;s/Options and select the checkbox for 'Show half hour slots' (good job you didnt want 15 minute slots!) From the 2nd tab you can also select the default reminder time.
