skining o2 xda dialer screen

I hate the standard blue m$ dial pad that comes with the device (o2 xda exec) and have been trying without success to find a way of changing it since getting it out of the box. :(

The files i need to replace are obviously those located in the \windows folder named things like dlrback_land.png (the screen background in landscape mode). When I copied these files to my pc I couldnt see them in the folder, the ony way could see the files was by typing "attrib" at the command prompt. :rolleyes:

The files are attributed as system, read only and hidden so its no suprise i'm having trouble replacing the files. ;)

Is anyone aware of any software for windows mobile that can change all file attributes, or any skining software that can replace the files regardless of attributes?

Any help much apreciated. :)
