Guest RossDargan Posted October 9, 2006 Report Posted October 9, 2006 Ok, so when I go into sound and notifcations and click notifcations my phone totaly dies (battery out job) - but only if I have my MicroSD card in (2gb), so Im guessing that is is trying to scan every thing on the card in some crazy slow way. Anyone else having this problem? I hard reseted the device because of this issue - but it is still occuring. Ross

Guest RossDargan Posted October 9, 2006 Report Posted October 9, 2006 Wierd - sounds and notifications shouldn't even be stored on the card... Thats the funniest part - it doesnt let you pick any of the music on the card!!! Just appears to read all the data on it! very strange!
Guest patp Posted October 9, 2006 Report Posted October 9, 2006 sounds like the prob i had in the phone app: long hang ups while the ringtones page comes up. hard reset sorted it.
Guest patp Posted October 10, 2006 Report Posted October 10, 2006 Some ppl have had problems wit ha wrongly formatted MicroSD card. Have you tried reformatting it (as FAT). You can do it in a card reader on the PC or using Resco explorer on the device.
