Ok, so when I go into sound and notifcations and click notifcations my phone totaly dies (battery out job) - but only if I have my MicroSD card in (2gb), so Im guessing that is is trying to scan every thing on the card in some crazy slow way. Anyone else having this problem?

I hard reseted the device because of this issue - but it is still occuring.

Thats the funniest part - it doesnt let you pick any of the music on the card!!! Just appears to read all the data on it! very strange!

Some ppl have had problems wit ha wrongly formatted MicroSD card. Have you tried reformatting it (as FAT). You can do it in a card reader on the PC or using Resco explorer on the device.
