Guest rtg20 Posted October 9, 2006 Report Posted October 9, 2006 Hi! I have a C500 which I unlocked to use on the T-Mobile (US) network. Lately people I call (or who call me) have complained that they can't hear what I'm saying; I sound like I'm very far away. Also, last night, I could hardly hear what the other person was saying. I'm not sure whether it's the phone or the network. Any ideas? Is it a known problem? Does it affect the newer smartphones e.g. the Qtek 8310? Thanks, Richard PS I can't use speakerphone mode as the green call key stopped working ages ago, but that anyway wouldn't fix the problem of people not being able to hear me.
Guest sweetswede Posted October 10, 2006 Report Posted October 10, 2006 Yes i have the same problem with my qtek 8310, i have to shout to be heard. Maybe there is a registry tweak to increase the mic gain.

I think it's unlikely to be a software problem. anyone know if the other qtek phones affected....? Thanks, Richard
