Tomtom help

I have tomtom 5.21 working on my spv m500 (With Gobalsat BT-359). Unlike some unlucky posters on here, I've had no problems with installing or pairing/connecting bluetooth gps etc; everything worked perfectly within minutes. I do have though a problem with it crashing. The screen freezes after its been running for a while and I have to exit program and start again to get it working. Not once or twice but often enough to make it a pain using it at all. I have installed most of my stuff to storage card so there is no shortage of program memory. Anyone got any ideas for me as to what might be causing this? Thanks for any help.
