Guest nedge2k Posted October 12, 2006 Report Posted October 12, 2006 [teaser] Successor to the G500, Eten's X500 is set to be little more than an upgrade... Specs are as follows:WM5 for PPC (AKU3)Samsung SC32442 400Mhz CPU128MB ROM64MB RAMQuadband GSM w/EDGESiRF Star III GPS (most likely with TMC)FM Radio (most likely with RDS)microSD802.11g Wi-Fi2MP Camera w/Auto FocusMore pics after the jump... [/teaser] Wi-Fi and a 2MP camera are both welcome additions however, the X500 looses the funky design that, for me at least, made the G500 so appealing. I'm also suprised it doesn't retain the 256MB of memory found in the G500+. Source [Eten-Users] via [PocketPCThoughts]

Guest robt Posted October 12, 2006 Report Posted October 12, 2006 Im not sure its worth cramming a GPS into a pda if it increases the size. Most people only have a use for gps when in the car and thats easy via bluetooth and a powerlink. An if you really want the portability, you can pick up a battery powered gps receiver for
