CamerAware Sig Causing Delays

Has anyone else noticed that sigs using the CamerAware location display are causing a considerable delay in loading pages that contain them?

My PC has been appearing to 'freeze' occasionally just recently when loading some Modaco pages, I even ran a virus checker through it before I realised that it was only happening on posts that used the CamerAware graphic sig display.

Even though I'm on an ADSL connection, the extent of the page download delay caused by these particular sigs is a nuisance, so much so that I've had to turn off the 'display sig' option to speed things up, which is a shame, as some 'normal' sigs are entertaning and/or informative.

Ah - good - I thought this might be the problem but I wasn't sure.

They definitely affected my page download speed, I've experienced no further delays since I turned the 'Display Sig' option off.

I've temporarily disbaled sigTracker pending a few tweaks :rolleyes:
